Yes! Aluminum Awnings are equipped to handle high winds.
Fabric Retractable Awnings must be fully closed during high winds to avoid risk of damage.

Your awning should be large enough to provide shade relief to your windows or outdoor living area.
A common size is 10’ projection by 16’ width, large enough provide excellent shade for sliding patio doors or outdoor seating area.

Essentially none! We recommend rinsing off any dust accumulation. For any spills or stains, we provide specific cleaning instructions for each awning style.
