Solid roof aluminum patio covers are designed to move water toward integrated gutters and downspouts. Oftentimes, these covers are waterproof in the majority of areas, but may have a few small drips here or there due to product design. If your patio cover is attached to a stucco house, you will likely see wet stucco after a heavy rainstorm, as the stucco above the patio cover absorbs water.

No. Non-insulated flat panels are built to withstand high winds and earthquakes, but are not designed for downward weight or foot traffic.
Even something like a fan requires reinforcing brackets to prevent warping.

We recommend spraying down your aluminum patio cover with a garden hose from top to bottom when dust starts to accumulate. For stains, a bucket of warm water with a mild detergent will work wonders while preserving the powder coat on the paint.
NEVER use a pressure washer, as it can remove the powder coat and void your warranty.
